It is very easy to admit that there are mornings we are too lazy to prepare the most important meal of the day. With busy and hectic schedules, we tend to grab and ready to eat food to fill our breakfast meal. However, isn’t it also unhealthy to settle for sugar-coated or fried- ready to eat food and feel hungry within an hour later? Worry no more, when put into practice and done daily, there are a lot of healthy breakfast ideas:
Curry-Avocado Crispy Egg Toast:
Want to bring a different spice in your fried egg, add curry and fresh cilantro to excite your breakfast. First, prepare the fried egg, cooked until whites are golden brown and edges are crisp. Second, toast the curry powder until fragrance comes out and third mash the avocado with lime juice and salt. The final preparation is to put avocado mash, fried egg, chopped cilantro in the toasted bread and drizzle it with curry oil.
Cabbage Hash Browns
:
Craving for a healthy hash brown, try adding cabbage bits with eggs, garlic powder, salt and seasoned with black pepper. Also, in a large skillet with medium-high heat, heat the oil, add the mixture and form into a patty, press with spatula to flatten. Cook until golden and tender, 3-minutes per side.
Spinach and Prosciutto Frittata Muffin

This is tasty, egg cups baked muffins packed with protein. Method of preparation starts by preheating oven at 350 degrees. Then, beat the egg, and seasoned with salt and pepper. Stir in cheese, spinach, and roasted red pepper. Using muffin pan-cups, divide the batter (around ¼ cup) and top with prosciutto and baked until 20 to 25 minutes or when the center is set. Remove the cups, serve warm and refrigerated the muffins for 4-days. If still craving for it, reheat for 30 seconds in high mode heat.
Scrambled Egg Tacos
:
Want to add Mexican style in your breakfast, kick off the day with these black bean and egg breakfast tacos. Preparation starts by heating large skillet, then add the beans, cumin, and garlic, seasoned it with salt and pepper until garlic begins to turn golden brown. Add the spinach, remove from heat and toss until leaves are wilt, stir in lemon juice. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, water, salt, and pepper. Add the egg in a non-stick skillet until the desired doneness is achieved. Then lightly char the tortillas over a gas flame. Fill the tortillas with beans, egg, sour cream, queso fresco, and cilantro if desired.
Tuna Omelette:
Good food that is good for your heart, try the Tuna omelet. Preparation starts by draining the oil of the canned tuna and sauté the tuna with onion and tomatoes. When tomatoes begin to wilt, add the tuna. Stir. Season with salt, ground black pepper, and seasoning. Let it simmer for a minute and remove from fire. Mix the beaten egg and sautéed tuna in a bowl. In the same frying pan, pour in the egg-tuna mixture. Tilt the pan on all sides to evenly distribute the egg-tuna mix until it forms a circle. Fry, both sides for at least 5-minutes or until sides, turns brown.
Spinach and Cheddar Quiche:
This quiche recipe takes only five minutes of preparation. It is packed with high protein and made with a vegetable that is a good source of fiber. Preparation begins by preparing the spinach; it must be wilted and placed in the mug. After which, the egg is cracked into the mug with the spinach and then pour out the milk, cheese, bacon, and salt and pepper for flavoring. Mix until thoroughly combined. Cover the mug with a paper towel and microwave on high mode for 3-minutes, until fully cooked.
